KuCoin, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has launched its new decentralized wallet service as it seeks to grant more users a seamless experience when accessing the decentralized finance (DeFi) world. As announced by the trading platform, the website for the new wallet is already accessible while the dedicated application will be launched later this month.
The KuCoin Wallet will make it easy for users to open decentralized finance-related accounts as well as in storing a wide range of crypto assets including but not limited to Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USDT, USDC, Binance Coin (BNB).
“As the gateway to the Web 3.0 network, crypto wallets are an important requirement for users to participate in the decentralized ecosystem and have developed far more than being a mere tool to store digital assets,” said Johnny Lyu, the Chief Executive Officer of KuCoin, “The launch of the official website of KuCoin Wallet is additional proof that shows the determination of KuCoin to enter the Web 3.0 field at a critical time, with our goals going beyond centralized trading services and entry into the decentralized world to extend its business further.”
KuCoin also unveiled plans to integrate Windvane, an NFT marketplace into the app, as it looks to make itself a one-stop-shop for all things crypto-related.
